Dr. Jason King, D.M.D.

Dr. King was born and raised in southeast Idaho. He has close ties to dentistry from an early age, and even worked as a dental assistant throughout his high school years. After serving a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Denmark, he attended BYU-Idaho to attain his bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He then attended dental school in Portland, Oregon at Oregon Health Science University.

Dr. King loves dentistry and involving himself in continuous education in the field. Starting in his undergraduate years he involved himself in study clubs and research. At OHSU, he worked in dental materials research with one of their top research faculty. Following dental school, Dr. King was selected to work in the University of Utah General Practice Residency where he honed many skills in general practice including oral surgery and wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, and IV sedation. He also spent many hours working with special needs patients in an O.R. setting under general anesthesia. Dr. King is very excited to be in his home state and loves the opportunities Idaho provides for work and family. He loves outdoor activities, small woodwork projects, and most of all, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children.
