Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom teeth or third molars usually come in around ages 15+. Wisdom teeth extractions are recommended when the teeth cannot fit in the mouth, a cyst has formed, or if only a portion of the tooth is able to erupt. Some people may not need their wisdom teeth extracted if the mouth has enough space to accommodate the additional molars and the patient can keep them clean. After age 35, wisdom teeth that have not erupted are usually left alone unless there is an issue.
